Targeted Re-sequencing for Diagnosis and Prognosis in MPNs

Targeted Re-sequencing for Diagnosis and Prognosis in MPNs

by Andrew Perkins on November 23, 2016 with No Comments

High throughput Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is becoming increasing important in the routine diagnosis and molecular monitoring of cancer. The myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) are a heterogeneous group of blood disorders characterised by unrestrained proliferation of mature blood cell types. Unlike the … Read More

About Us

The Perkins Lab is interested in how transcription factors control blood development and how mutations can lead to diseases like cancer. Our research also focuses on inherited and acquired disorders of blood cell production including myeloproliferative neoplasms and myelodysplastic syndromes.
We utilize advanced genomic techniques to investigate mechanisms of disease and translate these into potential therapies. If you’d like to find out more about us, please
contact us.
